Where you have a contract with the hotelier, Tandala Tented Camp and Safaris Limited (Tandala T C & S), a company registered in Tanzania and having registered headquarters in Iringa, this contract will be governed by the laws of the country and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the country.

All clients shall be bound by the rules, regulations and conditions expressed by the hotelier and wildlife conservationists.

 
 
Tandala T C & S will respond to the client’s inquiry and confirm the contents of the request.

Once the client has decided and is ready, he / she should ask Tandala T C & S for pre-booking and pro-forma invoice.

The booking is not valid until appropriate deposits have been received by the hotelier and the hotelier has sent a confirmation of the booking to the client.

Once Tandala T C & S has received the payment, a full confirmation shall be sent to the customer and a receipt will be issued as acknowledgment of the payment.

Payment shall be made within the correct deadline without any reminder by Tandala T C & S of due date. If payment is not made in full by the due date, Tandala T C & S will reserve the right to treat your booking as having been cancelled by you and apply cancellation charges set out in paragraph II “Cancellation Policy and Charges”.

 
Late Bookings (less than 30 days)
The client shall pay 50% of the total amount charges of the pro-forma invoice upon receipt.

Once Tandala T C & S has received the payment, a pre-booking confirmation shall be sent to the customer with a receipt as acknowledgement of amount paid.

The balance of payment should be paid upon arrival.If payment is not made by the due date, Tandala T C & S will reserve the right to treat your booking as having been as having been cancelled by you.

 
Early and Medium Term Booking (more than 30 days)
The client shall pay 30% of the pro-forma invoice upon receipt. 45 days before arrival at Tandala T C & S, the client shall pay the balance of payment.

Balance shall be paid by the correct deadline without any reminder by Tandala T C & S of due date.

Once Tandala T C & S has received the balance of payment, a receipt will be issued for the full amount paid.

If payment is not made in full by the due date, Tandala T C & S will reserve the right to treat your booking as having been cancelled by you and apply the cancellation set out in paragraph II “Cancellation Policy and Charges”.

 
 
By You
Should you need to cancel a booking/reservation, you must notify Tandala T C & S immediately in writing. Cancellation charges will apply from the date of receipt of the notification.
Cancellations will involve the following charges:
Notice from
45 days: 50% of the total amount due
15 days: 60% of the total amount due
48 hours: 75% of the total amount due
No Show: 90% of the total amount due
 
Should you wish to curtail or make any changes to the confirmed arrangements, no money paid shall be refunded.
 
By the hotelier
Although it rarely happens, and Tandala T C & S does its best to avoid doing so, the hotelier shall reserve the right to cancel or alter your stay or any arrangements due to events the hotelier could not have for seen or avoided or on security grounds. Tandala T C & S will offer the client the choice of an alternative stay at the lodge. In case of disagreement or cancellation, Tandala T C & S shall reimburse the exact amount paid for the service that has not been executed or replaced.

Throughout the booking conditions, the expression "force majeure" means any event out of the hoteliers` control even with due care such as war or threat of war, civil riots, terrorist activity, natural and nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions or government actions or political circumstances.

In these circumstances Tandala T C & S shall not be liable to any refund of the payment made and shall not be liable to pay any compensation or be responsible for any expenses or losses the client incurs where the hotelier is forced as a result to cancel, delay or change the stay or arrangements in any way.

 
 
Our rates include hotel accommodation with full board, Table d’Hote meals whilst on safari game drive, walking safari or activities provided by Tandala T C & S, meals arrangements are specified.

Our rates do not include entrance park fees if not specified.

Any special request (for single room or particular diet) must be notified in writing when the booking is made.

Check in time: 14h00

Check out time: 10h00

The rates also include government hotel taxes and levies.

The prices applicable are in US Dollars and subject to surcharges arising from local government action or changes in currency rates.

Payment in Tanzanian shillings and Euros are accepted but the exchange rate applied may be at the prevailing exchange rate.

Credit cards, Travelers cheques are not accepted on site.

 
 
Travelling in remote and wild areas with high risk of dangerous animals may inevitably give rise to risks and dangers without means of rapid evacuation or medical centers.

The client must adhere to the rules and regulations of the wildlife conservationists and lodges and follow the advice of the guide while on safari.

The hotelier shall not be responsible for any accidents due to the client’s personal negligence.

Tandala T C & S do not undertake to provide medical care and clients must ensure they are insured (both personal and baggage).

 
YOU ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO TAKE ADEQUATE INSURANCE AGAINST SUCH RISKS.
